About Me

After completing her BFA in Theater Arts at Boston University, Matisse Haddad created, produced, and performed HEAT TRANSFER, a touring play about the intimacy of female friendship and the journey from adolescence to adulthood. She wrote, produced, and starred in the web series DEFECTIVES, exploring the ups and downs of falling in love while struggling with mental illness. Matisse wrote the award-winning short, THE TAMPON, grappling with issues of sexual assault and consent. The Tampon screened at over a dozen film festivals, including HollyShorts and Taos Film Festival. Matisse is a recent graduate of AFI, where she earned her Masters in Screenwriting. A short Matisse wrote in her time at AFI titled T4T is currently in Coverfly’s top 1%. In her free time, she enjoys cat-calling dogs.
